Our 2026 Season Regulars
Created in November 2009 by the members of Project: Theater, OUR BAR has drawn some of New York's finest theater artists through its doors.

THE OUR BAR-BARIANS:

NJ Agwuna is a freelance theater and film director, hailing from the ‘burb’s of central Maryland. She spends her days coaching audition techniques, devises new pieces, performing musical Improv, and assists with casting shows. She is thrilled to be acting with the amazingly talented folks at Our Bar.

An Actor / Personal Trainer Battles’ favorite roles include Helina (Windfall a Rogue Dialogue audiodrama), Mattie Earp (I Married Wyatt Earp), and Jenny (Significant Loss, best in show Offline Film Festival). During lockdown, she founded the WineBox Players, a collective that meets monthly to read fresh, new works from up-and-coming playwrights. She is currently working on a webseries with fellow Barbarian KL Thomas as well as an album. @embattz

Brandon Bell is an actor known for his grounded presence, emotional accessibility, and strong physicality. His work is rooted in truthful behavior, personalization, and a deep curiosity for human stories.

Tara started with our bar in 2023, and has studied Shakespeare at RADA and Theatre/Film at AMDA. Her most recent films have garnered some wins in the festival circuits including SXSW with “Never Fuggedaboutit” hitting “best of” in 2023. She recently can be seen in the newest season of Law and Order.

Benjamin Burke is a Texas born, New York based Performer and Director. Acting credits include Buddy in "Elf the Musical", Malvolio in "Twelfth Night", Ensemble in Transport Group's production of "Hello, Dolly!" at Carnegie Hall, co-star in "The Other Two" on HBO Max, and he recently appeared as Don John and Dogberry in Mirror Theater Company's inaugural production of "Much Ado About Nothing." Emily Cordes is an NYC-based stage, film, and new media actress. A founding member of the feminist theatre group Tapestry Collective, in 2022 she co-created, performed in, and produced “#SoSadSoSexy,” a devised play about the fetishization of mentally ill women. Recent roles include Faye in “TomToms” (The Theater Project); Quince/Starveling (u/s) in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Tier5 Theatre Company), & Debby in “Trauma, Bonding” (Hudson Guild Theater).

Deanna Rae is a New York-based actor who most recently played Beatrice in Mirror Theater Company's inaugural production of"Much Ado About Nothing." Her other credits include co-lead in the original play "Anointed with Gasoline" and ensemble in "The House on Mango Street." Deanna also produces here and there, with her latest documentary, "Her Fight, His Name: The Story of Gwen Carr and Eric Garner," winning three New York Emmys.

Vicky Gomez is based in NYC. A fellow Queens College alumnis, she doesn't do theatre for a living, but loves working with Our Bar to do sketch comedy on the side! Vicky is incredibly thankful to have this opportunity to work on her theatrical craft. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Fennell studied acting at Greensboro college and is now making New York his home. NYC credits: The Legend of Eustis Ray Jackson (Project: Theater), The Imaginary Life of Millo St. John (Snapdragon Theatre Works), American Tall Tales (The Compass Players), and various plays with the Negro Ensemble Company Children’t touring company.

Shora Hassan is a writer and humorist originally from Fort Worth, Texas. She is an alum of NYU’s Dramatic Writing program. Her entertainment career started in late night production at numerous Comedy Central shows, but she has ended up on the business and legal affairs side of it in hopes of becoming an executive. Jessie Heesacker (he/they/she) is an NYC based actor/singer. His favorite credits include bit part Melissa Kelly in American High / Hartbeat Production’s feature film PROM DATES on Hulu directed by Kim O. Nguyen, Andromache in Trojan Women directed by Ricardo Vázquez, and their most recent role as Claudio in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING with Mirror Theater Company at The Player’s Theatre. Colin Jackson recently moved to New York from Chicago. While in Chicago, he was an Ensemble Member and the Company Manager for Organic Theater Company. Colin received his BFA from Northern Illinois University, and also studied at Interlochen Arts Academy and the Moscow Art Theatre School.

Rebecca is an actor and writer with a big belty voice, a heart of gold, and a scar on her face from the time she dropped a puppy on it. She has been part of this crazy team since 2011 and has loved every second of it. Other than walking the boards of various pubs throughout the city (both for OUR BAR and to enjoy a fine bourbon), Rebecca has performed in everything from downtown experimental theatre (Perfect Disgrace Theatre's A Crucible), to musical theatre, to various feature films.

Jess Levinson is a NYC-based nerd who occasionally performs in shows when the need arises. He’s done plays, musicals, staged readings, and comedic bits at parties that go on for way too long, but his breakout role was as “Background Character” in a crowd scene in the pilot of HBO’s “The Leftovers”. He was also in a student film called “Final Cut” back in 2014 which, inexplicably, can now be rented on Amazon Prime Video.

Jennifer is the founder and CEO of Phenomenal Speaking, and has been performing in NYC for several decades, from her stand-up career at Caroline' s on Broadway, Gotham, and Stand Up New York, to the Fringe Festival in Musical Chairs and Two Chairs and a Table. Meisner trained, Kristin has played roles from Shakespeare to Lanford Wilson in Regional and Off-Off Broadway productions. Amanda is an award-winning writer, actor and comedian from New York City who has entertained sold out crowds at the International Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at theaters and comedy clubs across the United States. She is thrilled to also be a part of the behind the scenes magic as a member of the Our Bar Leadership Team. Jeremy Nuñez is an actor, musician and writer who hails from the Bronx, New York. A recent graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse, he has been performing at Our Bar on and off for the past four years and he is incredibly grateful to his fellow Barbarians for their commitment and welcoming air. His credits include "Henry IV Part I", "Stop Kiss" and "Translations.”

JESSICA SHERR is an actress, writer and producer whose television credits include memorable roles on hit shows like Claws (TNT), Blue Bloods (CBS), Flight of the Conchords (HBO) and Cloak and Dagger (Freeform). Sherr also wrote, created, produced and stars in the acclaimed one-woman show Bette Davis Ain’t For Sissies — a long-running play that's a love letter to the free-spirited Hollywood legend Bette Davis, which Sherr has performed in over 450 shows, across 30 states and 3 countries. Andrew Tejada is a NYC writer, actor, and nerd who's been working with "Our Bar" since "Dune" came out (The 2021 one, not the wild 1984 one). His favorite NYC credits include "Con" in "Stupid F**king Bird", "Andrew" in "Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged" and "King John" in "King John".

KL is a NYC based actress. KL's credits include: Felt and Flesh short film, The Improviser short film, Charlie’s on Parole short film, MITF Short Play Festival, Charms 4 Less web series, Santa Isn’t Real music video, The Fridge’s Canucks Cabaret and Titi the Clown in Manhattan. She hosts Sketch Block's monthly live show, and bi-weekly podcast. Come check us out!

Erin Triplett is a writer/comedian living in Brooklyn. Erin holds an MFA from NYU in Dramatic Writing. This is her fourth time as a Barbarian and she is pleased as punch to be a part of this incredible team. You can read her substack “But Have You Seen It High?” at buthaveyouseen.substack.com!

Kellie Williams is a New York-based actor and singer. Her favorite credits include singing in many cabarets at Don’t Tell Mama, acting and writing on an all-women sketch comedy team called the Industry Plants, and playing "Zuzu" in Dance Nation at Sarah Lawrence College. Andrea Woodbridge is honored to be a new member of OurBar. As an actor, some of her favorite roles have been Charlotte and Colette in Dark Ladies, Henrietta in The Hollow, Enid in The Stranger, Anna Báthory in Blood Countess, and Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol the Musical (4 years and counting).
